Paris – 13 x 18 canvas panel, oil paint This was my very first painting back in 2008… I was in college, studying political science, planning on becoming a lawyer… having just come back from a study abroad program in Paris, France and had this image somewhat stuck in my mind. I was driving by the university bookstore one evening, thinking about liking the smell of oil paint, from having my portrait painted once when i was a child, and had a “why not?” moment.
